September 29, 1966 - September 11, 2001

I give you this one thought to keep -- I am with you still -- I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain.  When you awaken in the morning rush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone I am with you still -- in each new dawn.

In loving Memory...

Darren was working at the World Trade Center the morning of September 11, 2001. During the attack, he choose to remain on his 102nd office floor to assist with evacuation procedures. It was an act of  bravery he would never live to tell about,

 a message to Darren -- we love you, we miss you and we will forever treasure our memories of you.

Darren, Darren, why did you have to go?  When your family needed you so. They needed you to tell them what was inside. Your mind and your heart, what did it hide?

Were you a child? Were you a man? The essence of  what you went through, we'll never understand Were you a simpleton?  Were you a sage?  Your knack for the spontaneous never ceased t0 amaze

A combination of the abut probably rings most true. You had us all guessing just what you were going to do.

Your life has ended at 34, so unfair, because there was so much more. More to unfold as time went by,  Now all there's to do is sit here and cry.

Cry about you, a relative a friend Who with so many others , met an untimely end. Your creed was peace, and honesty, too We all had something to learn from you

Camping and nature will never be the same, The mountains will forever be calling your name. Drifter, gypsy -- you seemed born to roam. We trust you've found peace in your permanent new home

TO find you we look to the sky and cherish your memory as the seasons pass by. Your spirit will live on in all that we do Darren, it's been an honor to know and love you!
